Why do we create this project?
This website is designed to help the nonprofit sustainability association Out Of The Box (Latset mi ha kufsa) grow a new modern community based on the new community center Beit Hameholot (House of Containers) on Jafa Port.

Asufa is a store and home for unique and creative Israeli design,
located in Tel Aviv.
Purpose
As part of our market research analysis, we aimed to explore local solutions for cultural spaces, particularly those occupying heritage buildings. We focused on fostering a sustainable and artistic community through informative meetings and expert-led masterclasses.
Learnings
Our research gave us valuable information. We looked into ways to preserve and promote the historical importance of building by sharing informative content online and at events. Moreover, we also learned about the role websites play in cultural center projects. These findings helped us develop a unique visual language that better engages the community through effective online platforms and on the website itself.

I conducted a quick user survey among active and visionary individuals from Jaffa and Tel Aviv. To gather more data on the most important factors people consider when seeking information about local community centers, I also asked the recipients more open questions, like:

Research Resume
There is a growing need for convenient, accessible, informative websites for searching the local community centers that create a communication bridge for visionary individuals from Jaffa and Tel Aviv by providing informative lectures and sharing experiences.
According to statistics, most people use web platforms for search. To cater to this trend, we have designed a website-based platform with a mobile version.
Platform
Synergistic Design: Conservation and Renewal. We developed a design concept that presents a memorable graphic aesthetic by preserving the original architectural elements and introducing new elements to enhance functionality and meet the client's current requirements and newest web standards.
Concept
We have employed white backgrounds to enhance the prominence of the images. Using lines as a structural element creates visual order inspired by the historical architect's construction plan.
Furthermore, we infused Jafa Port's vibrant colors and shapes inspired by the new building's window pattern.
By integrating these elements, we crafted a simple, unique, and consistent visual language that can be seamlessly applied across all branding requirements, ensuring immediate recognition and identity.

Flow Diagram:
I created a simple flow diagram of the primary track users can do to outline all the necessary functionality. To develop functional information hab, we kept the website structure as simple as possible.
Home Page
At the heart of our home page design lies a crucial objective - delivering a diverse range of information seamlessly to our users. To achieve this, we carefully employed small units to present the company narrative in the most logical and user-friendly manner possible.
The essence of our design approach was to create a simple yet distinctive visual language that perfectly encapsulates the company's brand identity. By doing so, we ensure immediate recognition and seamless application across all branding requirements.
The Solution:
History Page
When designing the history pages, our primary objective was to ensure that the reading experience was as pleasant and effortless as possible for our users. To achieve this, we selected simple typography composition that enhances readability and engagement.
In addition, we implemented a hierarchy that enhances the flow of information on the history pages and is consistently replicated across all other pages. This consistency ensures that users easily navigate the website.
About Page
At the core of our About page lies a clear purpose: to provide users with essential company information and facilitate easy communication through a simple contact form. To ensure a visually compelling and cohesive experience, we leveraged all our previous design achievements.
Mobile
At the inception of our project, our primary emphasis was on crafting a desktop version while simultaneously considering the adaptability of components to the mobile format. This strategic approach allowed us to streamline the design process and ensure that the user experience remained consistent and optimal across all platforms.
Our dedication to creating a unified and user-centric experience drove us to strike the perfect balance between desktop and mobile design. The result is a cohesive and enjoyable journey for all users, regardless of the device they choose to access our platform.

During this project, we evaluated the market, did a quick user survey on Instagram, performed a mini usability study (online), created high-fidelity designs, build the prototype, and developed the website.
